Yes, I am finally getting serious about diet and exercise.  Buddha has spoken.
Today I got Cristina to help me clean the fans that keep us cooler (31.7C right now) because they were pretty dirty with all the use they get.  The one plastic old fan has been around forever with Cristina and the casing is brittle and cracking everywhere.  One day we will have to break down and get a new one.
My youngest grandson is turning 18 in 2 days, can you believe it?  It is reported that he wants to do computer programming.
Cristina went out for medications and dog food today.  Cris has been pretty diligent in looking after Princesa's cloudy left eye and it looks almost normal today.  She is such a sweet little dog and we hate to see her ailing.
This damned Covid is just not going away because people are being stupid, and apparently Colombia is one of the worst places.  I place the blame here at the macho temperament of the Latinos.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

Yesterday evening we got the sad news from our buddies at Joe's Secret Garden in Cuenca that one of their regular customers and a longtime friend Patty McNabb had succumbed to Covid-19.  I took many, many photos of Patty and husband Michael over the years and chatted with them virtually every week there.  They were wonderful people and we always had a great relationship with them.  RIP sweet Patty.  You will be missed.  Hugs to Michael and family.

Today I did my grocery trip just because it was men's day in Tulua.  I fail to appreciate the logic in this restriction.  Selection at LA14 is really sporadic.  I am glad that I can regularly find most of my veggies.  The last time they didn't even have facial tissues.
They have been working on the roads around Tulua and Andalucia even though I certainly have had no complaints.  The roads are smooth and clean always.  I am just glad that we don't have any toll booths in the immediate vicinity.
A touch of good news today as our injured bird has repaired itself enough to fly on its own so it is free of the cage.  Have a good life Birdy.
As I write this we are getting a nice, heavy welcome rain.  We have had enough heat for a bit.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
