Daniel was supposed to come yesterday to help us plant the new flowers but he didn't show until 10am today.  We give him some slack because he is a realy good worker and not scared to get his hands dirty.  We spaced the five plants west of the existing hibiscus and rose (and Tom's feeders).
Cristina also moved the kitchen sink planter over by the rabbit hutch when she also planted some seeds in the ground.  Almost immediately all the dogs were checking everything out and Zorra was already digging where Cristina had planted the seeds.  So..... off we went to Dollar City to get some sturdy steel fencing, no plastic crap.  We honestly thought they were cheaper but we bought 16 fence sections at 10,000 pesos or $2.75 USD each.  We needed 3 for each of the 5 plants, so we essentially spent 3 times what the plants are worth to protect them from our dogs...  But, they look good and should do what we intended.  After all this, those plants better thrive!
Cristina has plans for more plants and trees in the yard.  Maybe I should start a cabbage patch and raise some dolls....
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
