Not to jinx myself, but I am finally EXCITED about a buying prospect..!!
Yesterday afternoon I had my first ever showing by a realtor, who did nothing except drive the people over here, and didn't really say a word the whole time.  That is probably just as well because the prospects were an American/Chinese couple and they really liked the house.  I always said that all I needed was for just one gringo couple to see the house and it would sell...  I hope that I am prophetic.
This morning Alex stopped by and we spent the morning watching tennis, I didn't even see my computer until now.  Then the doorbell rang and I thought it was probably Cecilia, but it turned out to be the prospects, John and Peggy, again..!!
They said that they had decided to come to check out the neighborhood and decided to take a chance and ring the doorbell.  We discussed many things like movies, transferring money, switching the utilities and all very positive things.  John said that they had added up the pluses and minuses and only had two slight negatives that were not insurmountable, setting up a garden and using the stairs...  He even wants to take Buzzer in the deal.  So things are very positive at the moment as they went to check out the Monay Mall, etc.  They shop a lot at Gran Aki, also close by, so I have my fingers and toes crossed.
I just called the realtor and clued her in so that we don't lose this one.  Hopefully we will be going to the lawyer(s) soon and get me on the road to be with Cristina who was very happy to hear this news...
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

Tuesday Happy 102nd Birthday Mom.  Hope you are enjoying your reunification with Dad and Lucien, Lucien, Jeanne and Simone.
Rain, rain go away.  Dreary mornings are getting old.
I had a nice visit from Nancy and Oswaldo today and we went out for lunch together.  At least it rained while we were inside the mall.
Nancy was having problems with Immigration and Oswaldo was kind enough to accompany her to sort it out, something about putting the left leg in the pants first or some such silly thing Immigration forgot to do in order.
I ate and read until it was time to go out with the Tuesday scooter group.  6 bikes and 7 people came tonight for a nice ride south to Tarqui and back via the old road by the new jail.
They decided to go again to Q'Monstruos for a bite and, for some unknown reason, I ordered not one, but two meals, even though I was not hungry..  No willpower I guess.  I enjoyed the $1.50 pulled pork sandwich and shared my $1.50 pizza.
I had taken the Lumix with me tonight but, the first time I tried to use it, it gave an error message and the lens stayed zoomed out and wouldn't close.  So I carefully wrapped it in cloth and put it in the carry-all at the back of the bike.  When I got home it decided that it wanted to work again... go figure.  Maybe the jostling on the ride did it some good...
So all the photos tonight are taken with my Motorola G4+ phone...
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

Monday May 28, 2018
Yesterday was another pure hibernation day with excruciating boredom setting in.  I got up late, watched a lot of sports and got frustrated with the computer, so I gave it a bit of a rest.  Ever since I cleaned my old keyboard I have been experiencing keys that don't want to work and sudden computer shutdowns, with the main culprit being the "delete" key.  I always remember my temporary boss at Bannerman Insurance in Calgary telling me that most computer problems were easily solved by changing the keyboard.  That little maxim has stood me in good stead ever since.
I bundled up all the books that Dawn and I had read and took them in to Carolina Bookstore for exchange.  I had quite a stack of books that added up to a $30 credit so I grabbed only 5 books and paid the $2.50 difference.  I still had one unread tome at home as well.  I surely need to get back to reading these books to kill the never-ending time.
Next I rode Buzzer over to Markosoft hoping to get a new English keyboard but he only had Spanish ones and I want no part of those.  I went to two other stores and the last guy had quite a stock, but it was virtually the last one that he pulled out that did the trick.  This is a fancy gaming keyboard that lights up as soon as I touch any key, so it will even work in the dark.  It is a little bit of overkill but it is working well so far and I am happy.  Even the mouse seems to be working better, which is weird.
I see that Google is deciding to negate a few add-ons and gadgets, so please be sure to let me know if this affects getting the Blogs via email.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
