Sunday December 30/12
I am slowly working on the huge pile of Pase Del Nino (hereinafter to be called PDN) photos from Christmas Eve.  I am taking much more care in processing these so they will be pleasing.  I hope you will enjoy them.
That was today's excitement,   Cheers, Al

Poster for the event
The costumes are amazing

Children of all ages participate

This represents the passage of Baby Jesus

Pretty little girls

and innocent young boys

are all angels for a day.

Some need convincing?

Many teens participate too.

Some get an easy ride

Many expressions are seen

Some are very shy

Native costumes abound

Some are so stoic

Even spectators dress up

These dark eyes just slay me

Adults get into the spirit too

Who can resist these wonderful kids?

Friday December 28/12
I didn't have to go far, just to the corner, to get interesting shots of effigies for sale everywhere.   The effigies will represent everything bad that happened the previous year and they will be happily burned at midnight New Year's Eve.
That was today's excitement,   Cheers, Al

These effigies need faces...

Boys and trees...

Pick a face, any face

OK, who would burn Kermit??

He expects cars in the traffic circle to stop...

Hmmm, who do they look like???

There's a few politicians in this bunch I think

More selection here

Miss Piggy?  Never!
The Hulk in curlers???  Oh yeah!!

Boys will always add the two

A chance to exorcise your ghosts...

I went downtown to El Centro to check out a new Canon camera and happened to catch a few sights.
That was today's excitement,   Cheers, Al

Just one more squirt please, I am thirsty...

New dormers on Raoul's "penthouse"

Tuesday December 25/12   Merry Christmas
Roger and Debbie Quilty from Nashville, who have been following my blogs, arrived late last night so I met them this morning and accompanied them to Joe’s for Christmas dinner.   I wasn’t staying, as I was only there to take a few photos and then had to rush home for final cleanup duty before our own company arrived for Christmas dinner.
That was today's excitement,   Cheers, Al
