Where the heck did August go???  I think I slept through it.
The day was cloudless during our walk and beautifully cool.  Around 8am the clouds rolled in and stayed all morning.  The sun came out after lunch and we had a pretty nice day until rain clouds rolled in around 5pm but we didn't get any rain.
I had the 2 active puppies with me in the main bedroom while Cristina watched the sick one in another bedroom.  My 2 decided that it was time to play at 2am and I couldn't get upset, their antics were just too darn cute.  I wish that I could have filmed it.
Leonel came at 2pm to cut the backyard.    3 hours yielded only 5 large bags, I thought there would be more.  I always like to get it cut Tuesday or Friday, the days before garbage day so the clipping are not on the curb for long.
Cristina and Claudia took the 2 healthy puppies to Adiela's to get ready for adoption.  I called one Dora (the explorer) and the other Dory.
The sick puppy howls at times and we are not sure if it is lonesome or in pain.  It is definitely peeing and pooping, so bowel obstructions are not the problem.  I got concerned when she would spin in circles and appear disoriented, so I called Cristina to come back ASAP.  They just showed up, so the baby will get proper care.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

I got up to walk the dogs this morning and surprise....., little NeNe was all excited to come along.  I am always so happy when my little fighter comes out with his battered little body and gives it his all.  He is an inspiration.
The morning was really dull and cloudy with intermittent rain.  I went in with a few cinnamon rolls to join Wolf and David to watch the Belgian Grand Prix of Formula One.  The 1-2-3 start of Hamilton, Bottas and Verstappen resulted in the identical 1-2-3 finish.  The race was very boring and ultimately the ending was much the same as the beginning except for a wild crash that littered the course causing a yellow flag that really should have been a red flag.  Making drivers navigate through sharp debris on those thin tires was an absolutely irresponsible decision.  The Ferrari team had a disastrous day and were not a factor at all.  Hats off to the Mercedes team who is the creme de la creme of F1....
Then I had to run home to pick up Cristina to bring her back to Adiela's in Tulua for a 1/2 hour to visit with her Mom, Sister and Nieces.  I brought along Turi to keep me company as I waited outside.
We still have the 3 puppies.  One of these 3 girls is a real character and shows up in the most surprising places.  One is more laid back and the other one is ill.  Cristina is nursing the sickly one slowly back to health.
In the afternoon the clouds finally gave way to some sunshine.  The temp is a wonderful 27C as I write this.  I wish every day followed the same pattern.
My Edmonton buddy, Tony House, sent me the following video that is not far from the truth about how I deal with social-distancing problems.... lol.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

And they're off...

The line-up changed little overall

Messy crash

Note the tires coming off both cars

Lots of dangerous debris

Only a yellow flag was raised... idiots!

Both drivers are unscathed

That is a tribute to the safety precautions in F1 now

Ferrari struggled

Look at the speeds...

Other teams using older Ferrari engines are doing better

Not much change from the start

Hamilton cruises home on really bad tires

A classic Hamilton wire-to-wire finish

How winners look in 2020

1-2-3

This is a commodity and people transport to surrounding towns

Turi is my faithful companion

Tom Thumb came to perform today

Happily chattering that this is his territory

Never-ending chatter...

My handsome little guy

Multi-coloured rosebud has burst open

Peach rose is opening nicely

Looking forward to harvesting our first plantains

Tom Thumb is back

So iridescent

Note the damned wasp again

The wasp annoys Tom

One of the puppies is an extrovert

Grigi doesn't know what to think of her

Our dogs are very accepting

Who can resist such cuteness?
