Friday October 22, 2021

Lately, we keep finding the mare and her filly that are usually penned closed to the gym anywhere along our walk in the morning.  I suppose it is a testament to the ingrained security in this town that they are not stolen.

Leonel begged off last night from cutting the lawn because he was called in to work extra hours at the grocery in BugaLaGrande.  So,... we just went back to bed until 8:30am.

Then I got a message from an old resident of my hometown Radville, Jim Church, who is now a shirt-tail relative because one of his daughters married a Fradette boy.  He is into genealogy so has incorporated our families into his huge database.  Occasionally he contacts me to query about someone, this time about two Farand sisters, Annette and Madeline, who married Bourassa boys,.. Anatole on my Mom's side, and Albert on Dad's side respectively.  Sometimes it takes a lot of digging to get it right and we find a lot of errors in the research.

The latest dog Hanna that had the tumor operation is acting very strange, very slow, and disinterested in everything.  I fear she is on her way to doggie heaven soon.

So, all in all, today is another nice day to relax, threatening rain, and thunderstorms nicely passing us by.  I hope that continues.  I like the cooler air and I want the grass resonably dry to be cut very early tomorrow morning...

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
