Killer had me up twice during the night, first at midnight, then at 2:30am. Dogs sleep all day for the most part so they can get restless at night. My 5 or 6 dogs in the bedroom are generally quiet for my 6 hour sleep, notwithstanding Rocas the other night wanting to play.. Killer likes to get off the cement and, on dragging himself across, makes a mess of the protective clothing used by Cristina to hold the diaper in place, etc. Luckily he rarely poops in the clothing. I always try to make sure that he has water nearby, wherever he is.
Leonel came by at 7:30 to raze the grass to the dirt again. At that point, I can find doggy doo really easy. For $15.51 USD (devalued Colombian peso helps) and 2 beer it is a good deal for 3 hours work. Especially carrying the heavy bags of wet grass to the curb....
I did my best to try to make sweet and sour ribs but almost ruined it when I went to shower, the burner stayed much too hot, even on its lowest setting. Cristina made the potatoes and she really enjoyed the ribs. Sweet and Sour sauce here is called Salsa Oriental, which I actually didn't have but improvised..
We rushed to get to make our appointment with Jorge Orozco at 11am to drop off the painting for him to make a couple of corrections. I hope he can keep everything natural.
Cristina had dropped off several shoes and boots to 2 shoemakers so we dropped in to see what they had done. The first one had done nothing pending further instructions,.... one pair was unrepairable according to him. The other was closed....
We saw activity near the new Hamburgo place and the gentleman confirmed that they are now open around 4 or 5pm. I will have to try them out soon.
