The routine is now pretty ingrained to do the walk and then hit the sack again. Most of the time I don't need anything but a very short nap after that.
Cristina's sister Adiela is worse with Covid while her husband Miguel is better. My concern for Cristina and her Mom lessens each day and we are all fine. We are trying to stay home as much as possible, just in case.
My arm pain was so bad today that drugs and the TENS machineare in action and it is bearable again.
On Facebook some cousins posted a photo (circa 1950?) of my Aunt Anna (age 96 now, and related on Mom's side, married to Uncle Etienne on Dad's side) on my posting of a Percheron horse. I was sent a copy via email and did my best to clean it up a little....
Anna is the last survivor of the whole of my Dad's immediate family and wives.
I got the sad news that Lyle Hammer, wife of cousin and classmate, Reina Deschambault, passed away two days ago. They had been married 54 years.
I got a call via WhatsApp from Irma in South Africa and we had a long talk about events since her boyfriend David's death here. David apparently had no will so it left the door open for a true mess even though he tried to disperse things where he wanted before passing.
Then I got a call from my friend Aram who is now in Kentucky, working for Amazon, and he has his family with him, waiting to get into a house they want. He is again changing his phone and emails to confuse everything once more.
Thank you so much to my sister Yvette who is working to return the laptop I lost at Pearson Airport almost 2 years ago. I decided that I may as well get it here so I have something to work with when I travel. If I can't get another vaccination, I may not be able to make it to Canada yet.
