The walk didn't occur because it sounded like a heavy rain was happening as I opened the bedroom door. So I went back to bed until 8am and was surprised to see hardly any evidence of the previous rain... A flash in the pan and bad timing I guess.
I spent the morning getting caught up with RedBubble (which crashed and lost my first upload, Grrrrrrr) and Fine Art America (Pixels). It is nice to get the odd sale which doesn't come anywhere near paying for the time and expense, but it is my hobby to pass the time.
Then I decided to search for every Paso Fino horse and Cabalgata photos I had and to pick out some of the best. I was shocked to see that most of them were in JPG mode so I re-worked my 57 selections in both Smart Photo Editor and PhotoShop and saved them as better PNG files. My next decision was to save them all in a PowerPoint slideshow and got a crick in my neck trying to figure out how to do it again... This new Office is more complicated and I forgot how,... and spent probably 2 hours fighting with it before I finally got it to work right. Just don't ask me how I did it.. My next problem is how to share it.... YouTube, Facebook and Blogger don't accept this, and it is too darn big to send via email, etc. Any ideas??
Just as I started this Blog, I heard a siren which almost always heralds a parade down our street. The firetruck came up from the block below and had a single beauty queen perched above. They stopped kindly just for me to get a bunch of shots so I will share a few. Her sash said she was "Reyna Gelatina" which means "Gelatin Queen"... I didn't know there was such a title! Gelatina is a sweet that is sold in many locations here so I guess it is a form of advertising.
I hope you enjoy the pictures (backwards....). That was the day’s excitement.
