As briefly explained in yesterday's Blog, I undertook a personal project to catalog some of the bird species I have photographed here, and a couple from Ecuador.
I went through about 12,000 photos, chose a few, picked a single decent shot of each species of bird and worked on them for display as a reference of sorts. Most have been identified by the brilliant "Merlin" app by The Cornell Lab. Many were originally just labelled hawk, parrot, and so forth but there are many sub-species that are able to be specifically broken down. I have done my best to be as accurate as possible.
I trust you find this stroll through the bird world a little fascinating andd maybe bookmark it for future reference with the Birds' names and locations.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
