Where oh where has January gone?  In 4 weeks I will be preparing to leave for Canada.  All the protocols necessary scare me.

Please note that I have added links to my 2 other previous Blogs above for info from previous years starting when we arrived in Ecuador in November 2011.

I felt a tad woozy this morning so I did not get up to go for a walk.  The neighbour's chickens get the dogs so excited when they tempt death atop our dividing wall.  I have taken to coming out with the hose and they scatter immediately without even having to spray.

Killer also decides that he is hungry a 2am, 2 night running.  I always make sure that he has water but that apparently isn't enough at 2am.  The extra food that I give him is all eaten and he goes back to sleep.

RedBubble lost my first upload today but was OK for the second.

I didn't take any photos today because I got caught up downloading 9 movies.  Occasionally I get so bored with NetFlix and I also don't want to re-watch some of my DVD's for the 100th time, so I hide my VPN, use Pirate Bay and QbitTorrent to download movies.  First I searched IMDB's Top 100 movie list and found a few that I have not seen, or simply don't remember, or haven't seen in forever.  It is interesting that I have the vast majority of the Top 100 in my repertoire.  Today I downloaded Amadeus, Citizen Kane, Chinatown, My Fair Lady, Psycho, Raging Bull, Some Like It Hot, Sunset Blvd, and The Apartment.

3 of the movies would not play because I did not have a supposedly needed Microsoft Codec and, in the past, I just deleted those because I objected to the blackmail.  Today I decided to see if the $1.35 Cdn would be worth the trouble.  It came off my debit card and all 3 movies now play on the computer.  After doing a little more research, I found that if I had just used my VLC Player to play them, I probably wouldn't have a problem, because they do work on VLC on the Smart TV...  Live and learn.

Sorry, no pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

The walk today was to music... there were many parties going on before 5am yet in the neighbourhood.  Thank God for fans for white noise in the bedrooms.

I drove Cristina again into Tulua with my co-pilots.  She was going with Ana and Adiela to German's finca up in the mountains.  I did not bring the camera, drat.

RedBubble dropped on me instantly again today so I did not bother uploading photos today.

Cristina had left out 2 packages of smoked ribs overnight for me to cook like I did last time, salt and pepper dry ribs.  I used the big oven this time and they turned out drier for sure.

I tried to get photos of Tom Thumb and the other birds, but they weren't cooperating around lunchtime.

In a very roundabout way I found out that my ex, Bella, had lost her mother last week.  Apparently Lil had also been living in Ecuador for the last 2.5 years.  That probably means that her last husband Rob had also passed away previously.  She was a very lovely lady and will be missed.  Below is a humourous pic of Lil with our beloved Peso, who has also passed away.

The other Soapbox idiots have raised my ire and it it is time for the silent to put the blame where it belongs,.. with the unvaccinated idiots of this world and their conspiracy theories.  Fine, I agree that China started all this and I even surmise that they may have even done it on purpose, but I will wait for proof of that.  Here are today's Covid stats comparing USA, Canada and China......  Have a good look.............. Click on the photo to enlarge it.

Look at the comparisons PER MILLION and tell me who has done a better job...  And look at the numbers vaccinated, and tell me who did a better job...  And dare to tell me that vaccines don't work!

Why do we need to have restrictions in place to stop the spread of the virus?  Because the chickenshits that are scared of a little needle spout all kinds of BS and cry "loss of freedom" and the unwashed bleeding hearts beat their drums. 

I heartily support truckers, but not the unvaccinated crowd that carry risk with them everywhere they go.  They are the same ones that will not wear the mask to protect even their families.  They put every single one of us at risk!  Don't fall for their smoke and mirrors of loss of freedom and BS when they are spreading the problem willy-nilly.  Attempted murder, or at worst manslaughter, is still a crime.

Well, the numbers don't lie, and the sheep that support and follow an ignorant trucker who won't get vaccinated across the bloody country are making it a bigger problem, and definitely not supplying the solution.  If people can't go to a business or wedding, it is because we need to STOP THIS VIRUS!  The Chinese did it with BILLIONS of people!  And yet we are too bloody liberal and too bloody stupid not to follow suit.  Don't ask me to support a trucker that is scared of a little needle.  The freedom bandwagon just doesn't wash.  End of the Sermon from the mount.

I admit it.  I was lazy, and tired, and didn't go for a walk for a second day.  I almost did, but ... I was lazy.  Ten lashes with a wet noodle.

RedBubble dropped once but I managed to save both uploads.  FaceBook is acting more normally today for a change but, as you can guess from the above, I am quite sick of the coverage given to the ridiculous truck caravan.  This is probably the first time that I support my lame cousin Trudeau on anything...

Niece Ana is visiting in Tulua so naturally Cristina needed to go join her to tour around.  My co-pilots and I enjoyed the drive there and back.
