The walk this morning was exciting as we came across the big pot-bellied pig and her piglet near their owners' door. Our dogs were listening to my command not to bother them, because the big Mama looked poised to attack at any provocation. I slowly took the 2 pictures and more slowly moved to the right. She took the hint and slowly moved to the left. Once we were past, they were approached, muzzle to snout, by 2 street dogs and surprisingly nothing happened.....
A few blocks away we came across Whitey in his special pasture and I wish that I had taken a photo.
I could barely make out a couple of stars in the heavy cloud cover.
Further away, at our tournaround block, we came across the chestnut family of horses. Again the dogs were awesome in staying still while they did feeding, peed, and tried to make a baby.... Yes, I have photos... Eventually they sauntered away in front of us.
Today was a lazy day so we shopped for a long time on Amazon and eBay for gifts here. Shipping is such a big issue but at least Amazon will ship for free on selected items totalling over $35.
Oh, the series I am watching is called Deadwind, and it is from Finland, not Norway.
Cristina is expecting some gal to come overnight who had gone with them on their trip to Santa Marta in August or so. And tomorrow they will go get their hair done in Tulua.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
