There were a few faint stars in the sky and it was relatively quiet as we walked. Just up from the corner is a dog that doesn't sleep on the third floor and he barks at us fo the whole length of a block. I feel sorry for the neighbours. Whitey was in his usual corral and I was tempted to take a photos because he was giving us a full side view.
Oh, and we had no water until mid-morning... Why? Grrrrrrrrrrrr
So at 8am I watched Germany get surprised by an energetic Japanese team in the World Cup 2-1. That is another shock to the soccer world....
Morocco and Croatia played to a 0-0 draw.
Then at 11am Spain bombed Costa Rica 7-0 and dominated the whole game. They join my list of England and France as the ones to watch and win.
Carlos from ServiNet showed up and put in a different program to access the channels and, eventually, the guide. I like it because it responds to the wireless mouse which is 10 times better than fighting with the remote (which needed new batteries). His compatriot is supposed to come in the morning to bump my speeds to 70Mbps which should help the buffering problem which still exists.
Carlos was in love with my recliner with the vibrator and didn't want to leave. He watched the beginning of the Canada vs Belgium game at 2pm.
Canada actually controlled the majority of the game and got an early penalty shot which they blew.... Grrrrrrrr They had at least 25 tries at net against about 8 by Belgium but could never hit the net...!!! It is like somebody paid them to blow all their shots! It was sad that they suffered a 1-0 loss but they can take heart in how well they played. I still can't understand how so-called professionals can't hit a soccer net 24' by 8'....!!!!!!! That is bigger than everyone's living room wall!
Little Dary got his complimentary clipping today. Cristina dropped him off and I picked him up between halves of the last game.
Movistar still has not shown up for their equipment and keep pestering us with blasted robocalls. Definitely time to move to Claro or Tigo...
