The sky was dark again and we took a little different route for more exercise and avoid other dogs.
They were supposed to deliver the new posts I bought yesterday at 10am, and Carlos said that he would be here.... They came at 11:30am and Carlos then said that he would come at 2pm....
The posts were freshly oiled and OMG, those chanul posts are heavy! The delivery guy brought them into the living room one-by-one. My arms were really on fire today and I couldn't even lift one! Carlos moved them one-by-one as well, on his shoulder, to the backyard... I ached just watching him....
Cristina had made my favourite lunch without any prompting and we had then snuck out to bring stuff to Adiela's, pick up stuff to bring back, and hurriedly buy meat and veggies at Exito at LA14. The 4 co-pilots were angels the whole trip. I also tried my CIBC Debit card for the groceries and then I withdrew some money at a bank machine just to be sure I would not be stranded with no cash access. I breathed a big sigh of relief when they both worked.
After Carlos left I tackled the CIBC problem again. The exemption request was refused, so that is a nail in CIBC's coffin. I was not a happy camper at that dismal news. The Supervisor again suggested getting a "free" Voip number through Fongo. Free meant $30 or more and they can't even promise that I will be able to receive the verification codes from CIBC...!!!! Testing the number and messages have worked so far, so we have to give it a try. I have sent the number to the supervisor to change my number in the system so I can access Online Banking again. Crossing my fingers......
For those who may want to reach me without phoning internationally, the number is 587-887-0488 (Calgary number).
Somehow the views of this Blog have more than quadrupled in the past 2 weeks... I think the numbers are being padded just to make it look good....
Cristina just zipped out on Chappy to put fresh flowers on Christian's grave. I thought that I heard her come back and opened the garage door and that little rotter Negrita escaped again. We do this routine every once in a while. She gets to check out both ends of the block and she streaks by us five times before allowing us to grab her.
