The walk was super quiet Saturday morning, just what I ordered....
Cristina indicated that they will wait to take the earliest bus from the airport to Tulua on Tuesday morning. That is certainly OK with me as I have lawn cutter Leonel booked at 7:30am Tuesday.
I spent a good portion of the day photographing, measuring, and visulaizing how to repair the patio roof from sinking. I made notes on the photographs below to give you an indication of what I am up against. Because there is 0" overhang on 2 rafters from the main beam, I cannot put new supports closer to the patio edge, which is probably a good thing, I don't trust the stability any closer. So the new supports will likely be placed along the exact same line or slightly inside. There is still a lot of thinking to do, depending on the lumber-type availability.
Then there was quite a little thunderstorm in the late afternoon, and it rained heavier later in the evening, but it was so dry we did not create a new lake.
I watched UFC and tennis to while away the evening.
Saturday night Cristina informed me that new adopters for Sombra would be coming Sunday noon. So I didn't get much sleep as I kept the baby close to me throughout the night, and forewent the morning walk. I love that puppy and was hoping to keep it, but we can't keep them all. Rio is on a tightrope as to whether we will keep her because of damage she causes. Playful puppies cause havoc here.
Sunday, there was no water in the morning but it was back at 11:30am in time for me to shower and refill the emergency tank.
I didn't even have time to get my shirt on when the adopters arrived early and were tickled pink with Sombra. I told them that if they were ever unhappy with her, to just bring her back.
Our dogs are being so very good... Tomorrow, I will need to do house-cleaning and poop and garbage patrol,.. three of my favourite duties.....
