The heavy rain last night did not negate our nice quiet walk this morning. Still no calf, and very little activity that early in the morning.
The weather prediction is a perfect 26-27C with occasional rain or thundershowers. It can't get much better than that for me.
The runt puppy is slow-moving and weak so we are hand-feeding and medicating her. The other puppies swarm her and sleep on top of her until she cries. So I picked her up and let her sleep above my heart for an hour in the morning and more in the afternoon. She is with me now as I write this, looking at me through weep eyes.... That just tugs at my heartstrings.
I was at the Notary's office at 8am to get his stamp on a Power-Of-Attorney for my Pereira rep, Luz Dary. Then I had to take this to ServiEntrega delivery service to get it to her within a week. Total cost, just over $5 USD.
On the way back, I spotted injection activity outside the hospital so I enquired if a 4th injection was happening. They looked at my paperwork and, even without a valid Visa at the moment, they said I was elegible so I stayed and got a Pfizer injection... Now I have 2 Sinovac, 1 Moderna and 1 Pfizer. Soon I will have one of every kind... Covid is not something I want to catch even if I am probably healthy enough to withstand it. I have way too many family members on watch at the moment, self-isolating just in case.
Cristina had some shoes for repair so we went to the usual shoemaker 3 blocks away. I was parked in front and they have beautiful flowering bushes out front with amazing insect activity, even bees and butterflies. I got a few decent shots for you.
We made a cemetery visit to re-arrange flowers and our 3 co-pilots (Turi, Princesa and NeNe) were happy to run around free someplace different.
All this was before lunch and I couldn't see anything close by for decent take-out so I came home and made us bacon cheeseburgers, heavy on the bacon!
Then it is poop and garbage patrol before a well-deserved nap.
My DNA sample is apparently being processed as we speak so we should soon have some interesting results. I am not quite sure what to expect.
I am watching a goofy French spy service comedy with English subtitles on NetFlix but it is amazing how my mind is picking up that language again.
I am getting a trifle bored with NetFlix and should get on track to download some good old movies...
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
