The clock said 4:31am when I looked at it after a bad night with 7 dogs in the bedroom so I got up for a walk and was surprised that Rocas again decided to skip it but little NeNe was raring to go! Off we went, with NeNe almost being the lead dog.
3.5 blocks down somebody had made a very nice wooden pen which I assumed would be for a horse judging by the large water trough, but it is now occupied by a lovely brown calf. It was nice to run across Orange Dog and our old black dog, Amigo.
I decided to dig out the large tin of Saddle Soap that I had purchased in Edmonton and clean up and soften my moccasins and 2 pairs of sandals. I swear by Saddle Soap for the care and rejuvenation of leather goods. I had inherited my older brother's ball glove, and I loved that thing, and Saddle Soap would always bring it back to like-new condition. The tin I have will probably last me 20 years.
Cristina came back around 2:30pm and has been parked on the swing on the patio infront of the TV we set up there. She is very happy with it even though, for now, it only has cable.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
