Wednesday November 11, 2020

Today we remember all the men and women who fought in the various wars to oppose tyrannical oppression.  Most, if not all, came back home "damaged" and many did not want to discuss the horrors they had seen.  Avoiding war is not always possible and we tip our hats to those who answered the call.

I couldn't believe that I could do 2 days in a row of sleep, but I did.  Walk, chores, sleep, lunch (chinese stirfry), sleep again....  At 2:30 we got up to make a run to Tulua.

Cristina had brought home the wrong pink (with pattern) leash when we brought back Nina from her operation.  We had to exchange it for the plain pink one from the Animal Park.  We brought Turi along for the ride as she is such a great dog, docile and good in the car.

Since it was after 3pm, and we were driving right by anyway, we stopped at Power Pizza again.  My usual medium pizza with bacon, pepperoni, ham and mushrooms is 24,200 pesos.  Add the delicious coconut lemonade drink and the bill is 29,200 pesos or $8.02 at today's exchange.  The US dollar is taking a hit with all of Trump's shenaningans.  We sit outside and watch the traffic between Tulua and the highway.

Then we made a stop at the vet Huellas to get another big bag of dog food for our bunch and some cat food for the Animal Park.

Our different fruit trees are producing now and soon we will be able to harvest a lot, especially plantains.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
