Yesterday we took photos on the way to La Marina and, as promised, we are uploading them today for you.
La Marina is apparently a guerilla town however there is no overt evidence of that today. We didn't even go all the way because, frankly, it is pretty boring and there is not much photogenic.
We did drive up to a place that sells sweets that Cristina is very fond of, and that was the stated purpose of our drive. I am allowed to stop and take photos of anything I deem interesting. Cristina helps out by pointing out suitable views.
Today we saw a couple of new birds which we identified using the Merlin Cornell app on the phone. Is that ever handy and accurate!
There were lots of bovines relaxing this Sunday in cattle country along with their strange egret companions. I even got a couple of bulls butting heads. The buzzards always cruise the skies.
Today was walk, chores, and another long nap. I was up a little later than I wanted, watching new episodes, Season 4, of The Crown on Netflix which is getting into Princess Diana territory. She has just married Charles and the sadness and bulimia is already evident.
We can only watch the craziness of Trump with complete disdain and hope that saner heads will curtail his vengeance so he does not ruin the USA before January 20. How anyone cannot see what a vindictive creep the man is, I will never know. People pick one "perceived" thing that they think he has done well, follow him blindly, and ignore the deaths and all the crooked deeds. I am not one to wish bad things on people, but he is a definite exception.
It only took 15 tries today to upload the photos, another extra hour of anger, and it STILL uploaded all the photos backwards. Looking for a new Blog platform...
