Happy
25th Anniversary Fern and Eileen.
I
got no sleep at all for the 4th day in a row and experienced chills
during the night. I did not take the
dogs for a walk as I was way too shaky.
At
9am the mechanic Mauricio was here to install the new ignition switch for
Chappy. There are only 2 keys so I put
the main one on a lanyard for Cristina to wear around her neck when she is out
at the Animal Park or elsewhere because she is terrible for misplacing keys.
The
door repairs are coming along, I assume Carlos will come and do more smoothing
and painting.
The day for me went from bad to worse. Cristina forced too much water down my throat and I began to vomit and had a quick bout of diarrhea. Then I was getting hot and my mind was wandering and slow to do even normal repetitive tasks, I was not in good shape. I drank some of my coconut lemonade and immediately felt better! That had me wondering if maybe I was having a diabetic attack... I have never been a diabetic and do maintain a pretty good diet.
Christian's old girlfriend, Jessica, rode her motorbike here from Cali to visit.
Jessica and Cristina could sense my distress so they called Miguel to come and take me to a hospital. They wanted to take me to Tulua but I reminded tham that my insurance says I am to go to the Hospital in BugaLaGrande, and that was a good decision. I got attended to quite quickly, professionally and courteously by some very pretty Doctoras. I was on an IV drip for over an hour and we were there for over 2 hours. I again got very hot with fever there and they claimed I was dehydrated.
We had been invited again late to go to Aram and Liliana's for Hannukah for 7pm and I really felt bad to have to cancel. I couldn't walk that far safely and I sure couldn't eat anything.
At 9pm I went to the bedroom and closed the door, no dogs tonight. I may have managed an hour or two of sleep.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
