Jeepers, only 10 day until Christmas. Cristina buys for nieces, nephews, and probably her Mom. Other than that we have no celebration of any kind.
David invited us to meet him at the German restaurant at 10am so we made it on time. We each had a breakfast meal and Wolf joined us later. I bought breakfast for the crew this morning. Then one of Wolf's German buddies came on his 1996 Suzuki Intruder V-Twin 1400. What a gorgeous bike and that sure whets my appetite again to ride. It is Suzuki's more reliable answer to the Harley.
I asked Cristina when our midget Yamaha Chappie will be delivered... She said it is undergoing reparations to make it real nice and we should see it maybe next week. I think that I have heard "next week" for 3 weeks running now, .. just another adaptation of "manana".
Then we met David at La Herradura for a beer and a long chat. Cristina was to meet niece Natalia to go to a horror movie at 2:40. David went to his office (the Casino) and we did a bit of shopping, finding a TENS machine for $25 USD to be gifted to Gilma for her aches and pains. I would have bought another for aunt Native but they didn't have another at the moment. I slipped out around 2pm.
On the way in I had happened to notice huge changes to the new Bus Station so I made a side turn to get a better look on the way back. It is a pretty huge building and much closer to us now because it is on the north edge of Tulua. It looks like it might actually be not far from opening day....
Gas prices are hanging in there, not much variance at all, so when I get below 1/4 tank I add 50,000 pesos or under $15 and I am good for 2-3 weeks. Lizzie is also getting close to needing her 3rd warranty inspection.
