Another day of walking the dogs then high-tailing it back to bed until 10am.  Cristina is back in the main bed as of last night, not needing to sleep separately for the recovery from the operation, so that is a big plus around here.  The dogs will have to stick to their own beds for a while.
A fellow named Bob Cristopher contacted me on Fine Art America, where he has 7,000+ awesome photos posted, so I checked his page and found that he was from Yorkton, Sask.  His work is really worth checking out too.
Cristina was going to cut my hair this morning but she got bit by the antisocial dog at Adiela's so her right index finger is really sore.  So... I grabbed my clippers and scissors and went to work.  The sides are really short and there is not much on top to hide that growing bald spot.  One day I just might make it all 1/4" short and be done with it....  Cristina did help me finish it off.
Cristina announced that we had to pick up another dog from that lady that surprise-adopted a stray for us a couple of weeks back.  This is yet another dog named Nina (little girl) and is yet another sweetheart.  She gave us no troubles as we brought her home before lunch so that we could keep her from eating as required for the spay operation.  At 2pm we took her in to the vet.
Then we had time to kill so I contacted Dave and Irma that we would be at the new mall at 2:30.  However they said they would meet across the street at La Herradura at 4pm, so Cristina and I went shopping.  I was the bad boy today, buying accessories for the angle grinder, auto-feeders for the rabbits, 14 movies and 4 pairs of shorts.  Not a bad haul for one day.  I won't need clothes for a while now.
We met David and Irma at 4pm and soon Adiela popped in to join us.
Then all-of-a-sudden, a bald fellow from a nearby table came over and asked me in broken Spanish if I was a Colombiano.  One look at him and I replied in English "not very likely"!  Then he asked where I was from and I said "Saskatchewan, originally" and he just about fell over.  It turns out that Jimmy is from Balcarres, also married to a Colombiana (named Mariela), and owns a house in Tulua.  Mariela has a sister that lives in our town of Andalucia.  He had a friend named Bernard also there visiting from Canada.  Jimmy was a farmer and teacher in Balcarres and knew a teacher from Radville named Black-something or other.  I gave him my card so that we can get in touch again.
Dave and Irma headed to the Casino as we went to pick up little Nina and delivered her home.
So, another edition of "It sure is a small world, ain't it!"
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
