The rain fell pretty hard last night but it did not last long.... no lake today...
Our walk was the normal for 4:08am, cloudy and quiet. The only surprises were cows in our path at the north end of our walk. They are usually in a small pasture near where our potential buyers live. The odour in that area is not pleasant.
I tried to fix the loose kitchen cabinet but I can't figure out how to make it close properly without a gap.... Still waiting for Carlos to return with proper screws, although I think he is looking for the complete hardware...
It has been rainy and cloudy today, nothing serious but it is only 28C... on the edge of comfortable vs sticky....
The Colombian Peso continues its freefall which is only good for me to send money here, but terrible for money in savings, or for calculating what I need to get out of this house (not good for my buyers) and potentially bad if the price changes on the house we wish to buy.... I am trying not to stress about it until something actually happens...
I contacted our Visa facilitator, Luz Dary, to see if she could at least find out if my Visa/Cedula number is going to change or not. I need to get my car registration/plates/insurance renewed at the end of the month and I may need a valid Cedula to do that... She says that, since Covid, the Visas are now electronic and not a page in the Passport, and to wait.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
