The heavy rain at 4am continued sporadically and restored our lakefront. Rio is in heaven when she can play in the water again. So much for clean floors, or top sheets.
I refilled the hummingbird feeders because I haven't seen much of Tom Thumb. He should find them soon.
We took NeNe for another injection at Huellas. He is doing much better, but it bothers me greatly that he appears to be having trouble with his right front paw specifically. I found the perfect leg-foot brace online but they don't ship to Colombia and I can't find anything similar on Amazon or eBay. I keep trying to think of a way to fabricate one with a rubber sole...
We hit D-Uno for a few more supplies before returning home. Princesa and Turi were very good as co-pilots for the trip as usual. Jose did a good job with the cold medicine which usually causes a whimper from the patients.
I spent the afternoon working on Cuenca Kids photos.
Then I went outside to check on Tom Thumb but discovered a few dragonflies cruising the yard so I shot them for a while. They were cruising mostly above the water so I could not get closer.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
