Last evening Cristina took possession of another kitten to foster and it is so tiny that it fits easily in a coffee/tea cup.
Yes, we did our walk this morning and it felt good after a nice sleep under the new sheets and with a fluffy, comfy, hotel-style pillow.
Cristina pulled down another 3 buckets+ of oranges while I secured the bird feeder to the rebar that I had pounded in behind it. This is not a permanent fix, but it should last a good while.
I got the news that my Aunt Celine, aged 97, passed away around 2am. Celine was always smiling and she helped me out on more than one occasion when I was living alone in Edmonton. Her first husband Eloi died fairly young and she remarried another nice man in 1982, Chris, making her the first one in that family to get remarried. My Mom followed suit in 1990. I am so very happy that I got to see Auntie March 19th on my trip to Canada. Now, there are only 3 left from Grandpa Charlie's family, Jeannette, Maurice, and Marie-Emma.
RIP Auntie |
I managed to get a few shots of a Saffron Finch bathing in our lake! I'll have to watch for that more often....
Sofia is here to spend the day with Cristina again.
We are still waiting to see if the realtor Diego is actually going to bring this Americanized Colombiana to see the house or not today.. They didn't show up last night...
I hope you enjoy the pictures (BACKWARDS AGAIN). That was the day’s excitement.
