After walking the dogs at 5am I crashed until past 9am before getting to my chores.
Cristina wanted to retrieve a closet of Christian's that her Mom, Ana Julia, was no longer using.  I had briefly seen it yesterday and decided that it was very possible that it could be transported in the back of my small car.  I brought a tape measure, bungee cord and some nylon rope in the hope that it would be a decisive trip.  I was right.  3ft wide and it slid snugly into my hatch opening.  We put the back seats down and in it went...  Even the hatch did not argue about being tied down and we made it home quickly and unloaded, and pushed down opposite the kitchen where Cristina wanted it.
I then went back to Tulua to pick up David and we went for lunch at ChijilasCas again and both had baked ribs in tomato sauce.  Somehow I managed to knock a rib down on my shirt, fanny pack and shorts.  It is a good thing that they are multicoloured anyway.  The lunch was superb as always there.
Then we retired to david's to watch 3 more episodes of "The Crown".  I expect that we must be getting somewaht close to the end.
On my way back I stopped by Aram's.  He is always so bored so I gave him 2 of my cheap electric tools, the jigsaw and cut-off saw to tinker with and see if he could get them to work..  We had replacement brushes for the jigsaw but they solved nothing as I expected, I think to armature is burnt out.  It goes in the garbage.  The cut-off saw works well but I can't make the blades solid in the chuck.  He couldn't either.
Yireh has decided on a cute little kitten, an orange tabby and it is decidedly cute.  It had an eye closed when I took the picture but we cleaned it with water and the kitty was fine.  I think they called it Tiger.
The cats that walk our walls with disdain are pissing the dogs off many times a day, and consequently me too.  I need to do something to deter them from coming on the walls, but without hurting them...  Ideas??
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

Thursday January 30, 2020
A crazy day began at 7:40am with a cute black and white kitten delivered to us for taking into Super Mascotas Vet Clinic for sterilization.
Then we delivered diapers to Adiela's and played with their large menagerie of dogs.  Then we went to the nearby Tulua Refuge to pick up a German Shepherd that needed a vet's attention at a new good vet they have discovered called Zoociedad Centro Medico Veterinario.  However, on the way, we saw a small dog, frightened out of its wits, dodging cars and motorcycles on a busy street and we almost saw it clobbered by an ambulance.  Cristina got out and chased it for blocks, without success.  It was just too frightened to go to anyone.  We can only hope that it survived and got off on one of the side streets.  Then we took Adiela to John Faber's vet clinic, had breakfast at Bizcochitos, and went to pick up the kitten at Super Mascotas.  Yes,... dealing with 4 different vets today...
Then it was back to John Faber's for delivery of a puppy given for adoption.  No name given, very much like our Bebe, but black.  We were running out of time and rushed home to deliver the cat (they were late), grabbed 2 dog crates, picked up our Bebe, which is also to be adopted and rushed her to Huellas Vet Clinic before they closed at noon.  After a quick vaccination and papers we were on our way to La Union, over 50 kms away.  People who had adopted another dog from us months ago lost it when it ate a snail, got sick and died.  They wanted 2 puppies, one for at home and one for their acreage.
We got there uneventfully but I was certainly teary-eyed at giving up my Bebe who gave me such sad looks like she knew that this was goodbye...  I have serious misgivings about bringing a dog to a place where it is likely to be on a long leash almost 24-7.  Cristina does not share my concerns and thinks they will be fine with these people.  I certainly hope so because parting with every puppy breaks off another piece of my heart.
The car was registering an outside temp of 34C in that area and it was 30C in the house when we arrived.  A warm car and a little cooking soon has us at 32.5C in the house....  Praying for a little rain and a big breeze...
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
