Happy 47th Birthday to my wonderful daughter Jill.  You have a good head on your shoulders and make good decisions.  You always make us proud.
We were out the door real early again this morning to take Cafe to the vet.  He admonished Cristina for not phoning because they were headed out to do a sterilization clinic somewhere but 3 quick injections and we were out of there fast.  Now we have to wait 2 weeks for another visit to determine if (most likely) Cafe needs an operation to fix her prolaped vagina.
Then Cristina wanted to go buy a pair of shorts near the bank that she had seen yesterday but didn't have the cash on her.  They didn't open until 9am so we took Cafe on a walk.  Then I decided that the time could be used productively if I went to see about renewing my Registration for the car (matricula) at the Transito office.  Everybody kept saying that you don't renew the original registration as you do in almost every other country so I didn't believe it until I got that from the Transito people.  What I did have to pay by July 30 was the Government basic insurance (SOAT) which is a joke, but another $100 gone.  That emptied my wallet for the day.
Then we did a return trip to downtown and while Cristina picked up her new shorts I walked Cafe some more.  For a street dog she is good for me on the leash and listens well.
We made a quick cemetery stop to see the repair job by Carlos of the grave enclosure.  See for yourself the typical quality of Colombian craftsmen....
We replenished the wallet before coming home and having lunch and catching up on my chores.  I am liking the upped speed of the new computer all right.
I had a quick 20 minutes of shuteye before we joined David at La Herradura.  I had a beer and a chat with him while Irma went to the Casino and Cristina window-shopped.  She only bought a small choker...
Then I couldn't raise Cristina on the phone so I slipped into Exito and picked up a few groceries, mainly my salad fixings.  She found me there easy enough.
I am always so happy to get home and let the dogs back into the house so they can relax with us.  I love our doggies.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

Cafe is enjoying a little walk

We park across from this Library park most of the time

This is all on the edge of the river

This is exemplary Colombian workmanship

Nice view of the mountains to the west today

Not too shabby to the east either
