This is indeed a sad day with the passing of our long-time Monarch Queen Elizabeth II. Through tumultuous times and rebellious family in the modern age of fast information and misinformation, she reigned with class... RIP Elizabeth. Let's hope that our cousins Camilla and Charles do you proud.
BTW, Carlos did not show last night and still hasn't shown his face today. A Latin American's word is always taken with a grain of salt as they usually just tell you what they think you want to hear.
The walk this morning was quiet thankfully. But hitting the hay right after sure felt good!
At 9am I took Roger to a local computer repair shop to see if they could rescue his laptop which had crashed. They were actually able to bring up stuff that had eluded Roger on this 9-year-old Dell with a dead battery. So we are hopeful that they will be able to at least recover his information, if not salvage the laptop.. Really, it is time for a new one....
I did a little more clean-up on the patio and we are making plans for how we can make it useful. Cristina has started with the plants too so it should really be looking good soon.
I refilled Tom Thumb's feeders and have hung them along the edge of the new policarbonate roof to get him closer. I am not displeased with today's pictures so they may stay there, depending on what happens with the next big rainfall.
With the sun basically overhead at this time the heat has escalated as well. We sure could use a daily rain to cool things off.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
