The cloud was dense enough this morning that the sky was a complete blank once again for our walk. I picked up a fallen fruit on the way in case the filly with the blaze would be in the pasture, and she was indeed. She didn't react when I tossed the fruit her way. The other filly that is usually in the company of her mother was all alone in an open lot a few blocks away.
This morning I tried giving little old Dary a clipping with our Wahl clippers and it took a long time because his fur was so matted but, after about 2 hours, he is reasonably shorn and more comfortable and handsome. He is usually sponsored for haircuts by someone but we hadn't heard in a while. Considering that the cost here is about $6 USD for a professional job, it is definitely not worth my time to do an amateurish job. Dary was completely compliant the whole time, for which I am grateful.
I drove Cristina and 2 new kittens to Zoonosis and she returned after 9pm.
I was trying to watch "Borgen", a wonderful Danish series on NetFlix but a parade was going by with very loud music and dancers so I had to abort watching.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
