The uploading of the 2 photos to RedBubble was another exercise in frustration this morning.  The darn site just dropped on me 3 times, negating a lot of work which had to be repeated.  I only stay on the site because I actually do make some sales there but the time and aggravation by that complicated site is hardly worth the effort any more.  Almost every original member from about 13 years ago has quit them.  I have been threatening to, but it is so much part of my routine now....  Groan.....

Yesterday was so stressful that a recharge day like today was just what I needed.  I took a few bird pictures for you, didn't see Tom Thumb, so probably need to replace the nectar.  We don't get many visits by a Blue-Grey Tanager so I get quite excited when I see one.  Luckily he posed a little for me.

I processed the photos and had a lovely soup for early lunch made by Cristina.  Then I napped for almost 4 hours...  Recharged good, then had a cold shower..

I am starting to do poop and garbage patrols the night before garbage day because the timing of the truck's arrival is unpredictable and sometime too early.  That removes a lot of stress from the usual Wednesdays and Saturdays.

There have been several instances lately that are causing me to think of doing a written comparison between Ecuador and Colombia because they are indeed very different.  Ecuador (Cuenca) comes out ahead for climate and gringo activities and certainly for the way they treat seniors better.  Colombia however is much cleaner, friendlier and cheaper to live.  And Colombia has way fewer thieves, dogs and car alarms...  The Catholic thieves of Ecuador are not something I miss.  My person and property feel much safer in Colombia (Andalucia).

Staying mentally sharp and staving off dementia is almost an unconscious activity as I have to remember the many processes to work on my photos, etc.  Then I find myself playing mental games like trying to guess accurately the time upon awakening, the number of photos I've taken, greeting each of our 12 dogs by the right name... lol.  Eating my healthy salad every night probably helps too.

Rain has just hit and it is quite dark for this early in the evening.  I will need to get the grass cut again soon.  I have been looking at lawnmowers but it is hard to find the right size, and price.  I am not a fan of gas mowers but electrical cords are pricey here, and I would need almost 100 feet to reach the back.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
