The saga with Zorra continues for a while more.  Another day at the vet today, drop her off, and pick her up in the late afternoon.  And we have to do it tomorrow again,... but the good news is she is definitely doing better, hungry, and actually keeping food down.  Water seems to make her throw up for some reason so we will have to restrict that a bit.

The bill today was $19 USD so relatively inexpensive, but I have had to gas up twice this week.  I haven't done that in a very long while.

We did a cemetery stop and sadly, our little red flowering bushes are succumbing to ants again so we will need to apply some poison again to revive them.  Cristina forgot to bring it along on our afternoon trip so it will have to wait until tomorrow.

We had to visit Gilma (Cristina's ex-mother-in-law) because she wanted to talk.  Because Cristina is not talking to her ex, Carlos, at the moment, it was brought up that a decision will have to be made about Christian's remains by November.  he has been interred for 4 years (could not be cremated at coroner's orders because of strage death) and we (Carlos) will either have to pay for Christian to remain interred, or move the bones into a mausoleum box...  I don't know the costs, but I would much rather visit his beautiful gravesite than a plaque in a wall.  Just my opinion, I have no say in the matter.

Gilma also has a new live-in guest, ....her ex-husband Carlos, who has developed Alzheimers and needs monitoring.  Apparently he thinks they are newlyweds again which is a hoot.  I asked Gilma if I could have a picture of the two young lovers and she went sixteen shades of red before laughing her head off and shaking her finger at me with a huge grin.

A cousin we had never met was visiting, Beatriz Restrepo, who saw my camera so we got talking.  She has a sister or cousin named Victoria Restrepo, who now lives in the USA and has a photo project going on with birds and it really is impressive.   https://caminandoentrelasaves.com/

BTW, our new vet is a Carvahal, same last name as Gilma, but Cristina forgot to ask.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
