RedBubble actually behaved today and I got my 2 photos uploaded just in time.

The omelette place was open as she said, and she recognized me right away and got to work making 2 omelettes to go, same price without the coffee..  While waiting, I went 5 doors away to the bakery to get the oatmeal/coconut cookies that have captivated David, but they didn't have any cookies or chicharon so I took a chance on a "hawaiian" pastry (it was awful).

The omelette place is called Parche Tranki and might be a chain I had not heard of.  The lady impressed upon me that they do home delivery and gave me her cel number.  I had a good look at their menu and saw that they make beef nachos the way I want...!!!  You know I am going to be back there soon...

David raved about the omelette, a nice change from Colombian cooking and always Berthold's sandwiches for race days.

The race today was from San Marino, a tiny country within Italy, across from Florence.  I didn't know about it until today.  From Wikipedia:

San Marino is one of the smallest countries in the world. It is found in southern Europe and is fully surrounded by Italy (this is called an enclave, and only the Vatican City, Lesotho and San Marino are like this). Fewer than 30,000 people live there. Its total area is 61 km2. Its capital is the City of San Marino.

San Marino is the world's oldest republic that still exists.

MotoGP was almost as exciting at the end as last week with Francesco Bagnaia again having the pole.  My #2 guy, Fabio Quartararo, tried to replicate the exciting finish last week between Bagnaia and my #1 guy, Marc Marquez, but came up a little short on the power needed.  It was a valiant effort nonetheless and keeps him firmly atop the Driver's Championship points.  Congrats to Francesco for going wire to wire in great fashion.

Cristina was waiting for me with NeNe to do a cemetery visit.  NeNe was just a little gentleman so I let him off the leash and he stuck right beside us, no problem.  He was just so thrilled to get an outing with us.  The shrubbery looks much better after we killed the ants, and we added some yellow flowers.

When I got home it was very hot and the roses were dry so I watered a lot of the plants.  Of course that has presaged the present deluge from the heavens that we are experiencing as I write this....

I was about to add the photos when I heard the firetruck siren coming signalling a parade !!!!!  In the pouring rain...!!!!   Then I see about 200 Paso Fino riders (spread out so long that I didn't watch it all), some in rain gear, and many without..  Still exciting to see those magnificent horses any time.  I will do those photos tomorrow.  Something to look forward to...

I hope you enjoy the pictures (Backwards, of course.. Grrrr).  That was the day’s excitement.
