Well we haven't had a day like this in a while....  We went across town in Tulua to get a yellow/orange rescue kitten from one of Cristina's friends.  They talked quite a while.  Then we brought the kitten home for adoption tomorrow.
While taking a couple of shots out back, I saw this brightly coloured 'something' flying erratically like a butterfly.  When it landed, it tucked in its wings and it was this amazing beetle.  See the photos please.  And the bee conglomeration appears unchanged so I don't know if this is temporary or what.  There are posts on Facebook about not touching swarms of bees because they are just protecting the Queen and will move on.
Then Cristina had another friend who was working and looking after a gorgeous street dog named Chocolate but had no time to take it to the vet.  Cristina and I came to the rescue.  We brought  our Princesa to the vet as well to get her eye checked again.
Princesa got checked first and came out with her left eye washed and so very green that it was scary.  She has to go back again tomorrow for blood tests, and then return in 10 days for another examination..
Apparently Chocolate's blood is like water so she needs drugs and better nutrition.  Cristina brought her a meal of cooked livers.
We barely got home and the adopters of the kitten came by for a look.  They will pick it up tomorrow.  Things get lost in the translation but it has something to do with getting rid of a rat first..??!!
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
