Monday June 8, 2020
This morning we did a little trip to the vet, first to get 2 huge bags of dogfood, and secondly to get the vet to look at Princesa's foggy eye.  Unfortunately the vet was to be in surgery for about 2 hours so naturally we did not wait.
We had lunch and a poor nap while listening to Oldies music.  It is hard to sleep when you are tapping your feet and trying to sing along.
As promised, today I am going to show you some of the beautiful scenery east of Tulua on the way to a town called La Marina.  You will have seen photos a couple of times before on previous trips but, a new day, a new sky, and maybe a different angle or shot.
We didn't go into Marino which isn't really picturesque anyway but turned around because we could see the storm clouds brewing.  We did venture down another side road too but turned back when we hit gravel.  And we did get a thunderstorm later.
Nothing planned today otherwise, except maybe an evening walk with Aram.
The dogs are digging up Cristina's newly planted flowers and she is on the warpath.  I think Grigi is the culprit on this one, maybe along with her sidekick Nina.
We have no problem with an afternoon thunderstorm that helps cool us off.  Our lawn guy is now only coming on Wednesday morning.

Evening update:  Wrong place, wrong camera (Lumix), but nice sunset nonetheless.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
