We stayed up pretty late last night playing a new cards game called Wizards.  It is a pretty complicated game and maybe they were taking it easy on me at first as I built a nice lead which frittered away at the end and I came in last...  I haven't played cards for many years so it was fun.
I did not sleep at all last night worrying needlessly over things out of my control..  I really didn't settle down until I had a cold shower about 7:30am.  Lou had gone to work earlier, so Yvette and I just hunkered down and stayed in our pyjamas all day and did our thing.  That was the best thing to do on Friday the 13th anyway.
I took a couple of photos from the patio door of the only bird braving the cool winds outside on yet another cloudy, blustery day.  I can't say that I am overly impressed with the new lens yet, but then everything is so dull and grey at the moment, it is hard to get excited about such photos.
Then I helped Yvette modify an old baby picture of her daughter Shari to make into a cross-stitch pattern for Shari's 50th birthday.  I didn't realize that we had spent over 2 hours just working on that, redoing it many times until we got it right.  It is interesting how our hobbies can intermix.
We also connected with several people all over Canada and Colombia via Messenger or WhatsApp.  The world is in such a silly flap over the Coronavirus business that it may affect my flights...  I sure hope that everyone else just stays home so that I can fly in peace.
I will be hitting the sack pretty early tonight I think.  I am not sure if we are going for fish and chips tonight or not.  The place I really want to frequent on the bank of Lake Ontario is not open for the season yet.
UPDATE - Yes, we did go to a place called Chuck;s for fish'n'chips, haddock, and it sure tasted good.  (photos tomorrow as I need to go try to win at Wizards tonight).
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
