I surprised my friends in Okotoks with an 18-month calendar featuring their Golden Retriever, Chimo.  I managed to find a free online site https://picallycalendar.com/# to accomplish this.  It was easy but time-consuming and each page comes out as a printable PDF.
On their behalf I also submitted 4 photos of their choice for possible inclusion on the calendars of Willow Creek Press at http://www.willowcreekpress.com/.  I had taken some decent photos of Chimo back in 2010 when he was 2 years old.  Now he is like me, old and slow.
Then I got notice yesterday from my sister Leonie that the website of her husband, custom knifemaker Brian Lyttle was about to be closed.  I suggested that she move the information over to a free page at https://neocities.org/.   She was delighted to have this option and this is the result: https://brianlyttleknives.neocities.org/.  She is tickled to have the option to continue his incredible legacy.  Check it out.  Brian did some of the best knife work in the world.  Just ask Brad Pitt or Anthony Hopkins.
Cristina had been holding some apple seeds aside for months and I finally got around to digging a hole and dropping them in.  I put a marker pole beside it so the lawn cutter doesn't destroy any possible growth.  Personally I am not hat hopeful that anything will grow but I am hoping I am wrong.
After lunch I had an extraordinarily long nap before getting ready to run into Tulua for Cristina to meet 2 sisters to visit uncle Raimundo in a clinic prior to an operation.  There was already an aunt there and they were only allowing 2 visitors at a time during the one hour visiting period.  So I begged off to allow the 4 of them some decent unfettered time.
So I went over to the nearby Dollar City and bought some repair and kitchen items.  Cristina wasn't back to meet me at the car at 5pm as agreed so I took a quick peek in the KIA showroom.  Nice cars, including the new 2020 Cerato Verano, automatic with cruise and sunroof for only 83,000,000 pesos, or almost $26,000 USD.  Tempting, but I don't have the money to trade up nor really the room to park that big car in my house.
As always, our good doggies (10 at the moment) are always thrilled to see us when we return home. All that love...
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
