We started off yesterday with the included breakfast before heading out to find the beach close to our hotel. It was a vey windy, cloudless day and we carried next to nothing, hoping to find lawn chairs and big umbrellas to keep the sun off of us.....
No such luck, zero protection from the sun and wind and I could feel myself starting to burn so we beat a hasty retreat. I only managed a couple of shots of pelicans all day.
A prior small bout of diarrhea got worse and worse once we were back at the hotel, and I even had a bout of dry heaves. I was constantly between the bed and the bathroom and refused to eat another thing until it passed, which was overnight. I am guessing this was a reaction to "street meat" I at at the wharf the night before..
We had to skip our night tour in a noisy Chiva bus as well.
So, today we leave at 7:18pm for Pereira, hoping we will find a ride home from there. My stomach is doing somersaults so I expect that today will be a quiet day close to the bathroom again.
