Last night, my Serbian buddy Igor shared some photos from his African ride, specifically in Namibia. He is allowing me to share them below. Igor is a retired guy, turned world traveler, except for the cold continents... His Blog is enough to make any traveling photographer jealous.

I kid him about putting his motorcycle in almost every shot, but it is important for him. He certainly is well-travelled!It was nail-biting time when the Czechs scored 2 late goals in the last 10 minutes to send the game to overtime = first goal wins... But the Canadian boys were not going to allow a repeat loss like their first game of the tournament.... Edmonton native Guenther got the goal that Canada needed to retain the Gold Medal, having won last year as well. The boys certainly did us proud!
We did go for a walk at 4:20am under a full moon. The photos below (all from today with the phone) are taken on what I call "Pig street" for obvious reasons. The mares and filly were not around, but Whitey was.
After another sleep-in, the drugs doing their duty, I went outside for poop patrol, cleanup and to trim the roses back. It is best to do such things before the midday sun...
Cristina went into Tulua early to look after her mother who is apparently ailing. Get well Ana Julia....
My granddaughter Danai is now in Australia for a few months, near Cairns, in the northeast, which is where my good friend Helen Russo hails from.... Who knows?? They may cross paths yet.
Claudia came by to collect Coco who had almost become a regular here. Good luck Coco. So we are back to our own 13 dogs, having adopted the latest stray Nino...
Looking forward to the ladies Under-18 hockey tournament starting Sunday.... I love international hockey on the larger ice surface.
