We woke up to no water service once again, but at least it was shortlived, back on at 7am. We did not see the horse Charlie this morning on our walk but we were supremely pleased to see the old dog Amigo in his normal location.
Cris wanted to go to visit a friend in Tulua so I made arrangements to visit David and Igor. That extended into lunch and watching the certification of the US electoral college votes.
Igor and I slipped out to get the fruit guanabana at a special place downtown but it was strangely closed. So we went to LA14 and bought guanabana pulp and fruit and a cheap blender. I made the first batch and everyone enjoyed it.
The rest of the day went downhill from there with the despicable liar Donald Trump inciting a riot at the US Capitol. My disgust with that man, most Republican supporters and his idiotic sheep has reached a new high. Who would have ever believed that we would be watching such fascist tactics in the supposed beacon of democracy. How ANYONE can continue to support that maga-lomaniac moron is completely beyond me. A person would have to be completely devoid of brain cells to go against a process overseen, and certified as fair, by representatives of both sides.

Donald Trump belongs in jail and I would love to be his jailer. The man has ruined America and the only saving grace today is that the Democrats elected 2 Senators in Georgia so the now control the House of representatives AND the Senate. This will speed up the process of reversing the disastrous decisions of the tantrum-throwing child Trump. How they intend to rein in this idiot for yet another 2 weeks remains to be seen. Hopefully the general disgust with the sad events of today will isolate the dummy to a rubber room in his basement.
We have arranged a photography trip for Friday Jan 15 with Igor and vet John Faber Rojas to go to Filandia and Salento, very picturesque places in the coffee district.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
