Yes, the circus tents are up in the open lot beside us. All other times they haven't been overly noisy and we sleep with a fan running for white noise, so we don't hear much. They also have one of those small metal domes they ride motorcycles inside in circles. I imagine that they will be here for a couple of months. Where else can you go to a comedy circus for 90c as an adult????
We went out by 11am to the Animal Park together. Claudia was working elsewhere so Cristina was doing their chores today by herself, cleaning and feeding. It is so sad to see the street dogs, and the cats, but it is the kittens that are in rough shape. Many of them seem to have a touch of mange.
They don't even try to get homes for the adult dogs and cats and that is a crying shame. They say there just is no interest in the older ones. These dogs and cats just crave attention. While there, under the bright blue sky, all nature just seemed so lovely today.
Then we drove into Tulua to help Ana Julia with money matters before going over to David and Irma's for a delicious lamb stew lunch. Then we watched a NetFlix movie with Rob Lowe and Kristin Davis called "Holiday In The Wild". Vicariously, we went on a cheap African safari. The African scenery was so beautiful that I grabbed a couple of shots for you all.
Then we went to a specialized vet clinic where certain medicines can be found that Cristina needs to treat many of the animals.
Next we went to Olympica to get the cheap livers, etc to make healthy iron-rich dog food and I did a quick grocery run while there. I just realized that I did even look at the amount we paid... Silly.
We haven't had any rain for a while now so they days get pretty warm. 30C seems to be the normal of late.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
