It started to rain in the wee hours so, even though the animals are all sheltered and warm, I took pity on them and let them into our bedroom.  Everybody conked for another 3 hours or so but I never got much shuteye.
The rabbit, tentatively named "Bunny", is becoming a little more relaxed although the young ones still think it wants to play so the occasional chase begins and we have to intervene.
I was feeling a little odd around noontime so I took a little nap then read the rest of that Child Soldier book which is pretty depressing while Cristina watched TV.  Later she wanted to get up but she had 3 sleeping dogs draped over her.  I wanted to get the camera but I couldn't move either with 2 more lying on me.
We had a brief afternoon rain which delayed a visit to Cristina's aunt who loves 5 blocks down our street.  Cristina could not call so we just went to drop in, with a gift of some fresh bread from the bakery.  Cristina wanted me to meet a cousin who lives there, about Cristian's age, who was run over by a motorcycle as a toddler and is a paraplegic as a result.  He was home but the aunt wasn't, so we chatted with him for a bit through the window and gave him the bread.
Oh, and we walked...
So Cristina dragged me to the main square because they had books for sale but the tables were already covered over as night was falling.  I think the chances of finding English books here are pretty slim.
More animal pictures....
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
