I got this great compliment today from my sister Leonie:
"The two pictures I just sent were taken with Erin’s Nikon D3500 camera because she is constantly taking pictures like you do.  I keep telling her that she’s taking after her uncle Al."  Very sweet, Thank you Leonie.  The D3500 is a great little camera, not unlike my D5600.

Cristina gave me the sad news that the third kitten passed away as well.  There is just no replacement for a real mother and they just stop eating and die.  I feel so sorry for Cristina who does everything she can for baby cats and dogs and it hurts to see a helpless animal die.
I am looking for days to escape but today is not one of them.
I am thankful that the garbagemen take the many heavy bags of lawn clippings because, otherwise, I wouldn't know what to do with them.
Yes, my camera got a bit of a workout today and Tom Thumb was not the star today, it was the colourful Saffron Finches.  I really like the range on the new lens.
Also the Vermilion Flycatcher made an appearance with a captured wasp.  It makes me happy that we have a predator for those nasty insects that bother my hummingbirds.
Aram comes almost every evening to again watch movies with me.  We are well into 40 episodes of Pablo Escobar....
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
