I really had to rush my chores, including poop and garbage collection to be ready to go out by 8:30.  I had been up in the middle of the night to discover that we had no water, again...  Luckily it was back about 7:45.
We went to pick up Zeus for another vet appointment.  He had so little control of his bowels yesterday that I threw on our green waterproof cover on the back seat.  That certainly proved to be a wise move.
We were almost shocked to see Zeus doing his best to walk, sometimes dragging the back feet, but staying up for a decent period of time.  He even walked to the car but needed to be lifted in.  We were so excited that we took a quick video with my phone -  https://youtu.be/U6O18iZT10A
We zoomed into Tulua and I kicked myself for not passing a sugar cane train truck when I had the chance.  They just crawl along then pulled into a field inside Tulua and the road is all mucky there.
We sat at the vet's for a while and Miguel even came by to let me know that our fishing jaunt is on for Friday.  Will wonders never cease?
We got the sad news that the other white pitbull from yesterday died from the poisoning that it had received.  So sad.
They put Zeus in a very large cage and he was howling for attention as we left to do some chores.  We went back to Leo cel, the tech guy that was moving all of Christian's WhatsApp conversations onto 2 memory sticks.  The work was finally done and it cost $100.  We then walked another couple of blocks and gave one of the memory sticks to the District Attorney (Fiscalia).  That is a big load off of Cristina's mind.
Then we went back to pick up Zeus but he was not ready yet.  After the injection it is important to wait a bit for any adverse reaction.  A common reaction is involuntary bowel movements and Zeus had such a reaction.  After a cleanup, we walked him to the car and installed him on the waterproof cover and Cristina got on the other side to control him.
We were just leaving Tulua when we ran into a second sugar cane train holding up traffic and bringing a healthy dose of mud on the road.  Th idiots trying to hose off the mud were shooting it toward the cars..!!  I was not pleased...
Zeus took that opportunity to have a second reaction and the smell was overpowering and immediate.  All four windows went down and the air-conditioning was on full blast.  God bless Cristina that she has the stomach to cope with such disasters.  We then folded the cover and had Zeus on the floor in the front.  Needless to say the windows stayed down as I rushed to get the big guy back home to Nayibi.
Upon arrival at home, the cover and Zeus's bedding were prepared for washing,.. that is, after we removed a live mouse trapped inside the barrel of the washing machine.  Cristina let it loose outside.
While Cristina returned later to re-medicate Zeus and help out at the doggie park with Claudia, I slipped outside with the Canon to try to get more photos of our new grandchildren.  I am not very happy with those shots but am very happy with the shots of our flowers, and that darn cat.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.

Surprise!  Zeus is trying to get mobile!

He looks a lot happier too

Even his friends think so.

Nayibi is doing her best with him.

Zeus seems quite happy here.

He is still awkward

I asked Nayibi for a decent photo of her
