Yesterday I didn't budge from home and worked on a lot of photos to sell.  It is always quite satisfying to take a fairly ordinary shot and make it into something beautiful.
This morning, we were off and running right after walking the dogs.  We actually went into Tulua 3 times today!  Our first order of business was to get Bunny fixed so we took him in to John, the vet.
This was pretty early in the morning but we managed to get a little shopping done, getting cheap garbage bags, tea, peanuts and such.  Cristina also got some more livers to speed up Zeus' recovery.
We stopped at D1 to get my pop and snacks and spotted yogurt/cereal combination for 50c!  We picked up a few, along with our usual snacks and lemon-lime drink.
We came back home and I got my work done.  John called that we could pick up Bunny at 2:30.  So we had lunch and a siesta before heading back.
There is always excitement and sadness when at the vet's because he is almost always dealing with sick animals.  Today he even had a sick huge iguana (the tail alone was about 2.5' long) and a small falcon.  John is such a great guy and treats everyone well with good humour.
Then he surprised us by saying that he wanted one of our bunnies!  So we brought Bunny back home and then returned right away with Brownie, our biggest and best bunny to give to John.  The smile on John's face was thank-you enough.
Lately I have been having a craving for the crispy fried chicken that we can buy here for about 45c a piece..!!  And that comes with a potato as well!  Again, it does not pay to cook when you can obtain good food at such a price.
Cristina reports that Zeus is doing really well and that makes everyone very happy, knowing that their efforts to help defenseless animals is not in vain.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
