Good grief!  2 months already gone in 2019...
And retirement has these days where you have absolutely zero planned so you make up your day as you go along.
After chores I decided to clean the very dirty bug zapper in the back.  It sure takes care of the big moths.  I think the fruit bats look after any mosquitoes and fruit flies.
Since I was out of cabbage for my daily salads we decided to check the nearby veggie market but were really disappointed with the quality so we took Lizzie into LA14 for groceries.  I have so far managed to avoid the rains that follow washing the car.
Then we came home and I made a delicious bacon and eggs lunch for Cristina and I before having a quick nap.
Then I decided that time was on my side and that I would wait and hope to see Tom Thumb in the back yard.  You can see the results below.  I was out there for almost 2 hours and was just about to give it up when my dear Tom showed up ever so briefly and let me take a few bad shots.  At least it gives me the impetus to try for better shots next time.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
