The daylight savings time has done little to change Mother Nature's urges and I was surprised when the call came at 3:15am. Then I made the mistake of staying up until 10am before badly attempting to get a bit more shuteye. I am definitely headed for bed upon posting this Blog.
Ash's Dad, Gord, came to get me at 1pm to spend another relaxing day with him. The first stop was at Tim Horton's for coffee and a doughnut. I shook my head when I realized that there are TWO Timmie's locations in this little shopping centre, and both are always busy!
We went to his lovely condo and I again helped him with his Mac computer which continuously refuses to accept our changes of preferences.... At least we figured out a work-around.
The cloudy skies opened up into nice blue skies as the afternoon wore on and we sat on the balcony in a light shirt in 8C weather.
Gord invited the family and his girlfriend for supper in the dining room there where we enjoyed split pea soup, pork tenderloin, and my fave lemon meringue pie with graham wafer crust! Thank you Gord for another great day!
I hope you enjoy the pictures (backwards again!). That was the day’s excitement.
