The predicted snowstorm today skirted Edmonton pretty much but hit the kids at the lake and in Wetaskiwin. I had no plans, so I stayed in bed longer than usual and did up yesterday's busy blog after my chores.
I got in contact with some old Lions members who were interested in my old Lions vest with all the heavy metal pins from many old clubs. Pipe and Wanda Coates started with us at the Northgate Lions in the 80's and Pipe is still there. They are to come by Thursday afternoon.
I basically did nothing but watch sports all day and the family came back from the lake around noon. Supper was scrumptious tacos so another notch on my belt was added.
I got tired of watching the Raptors get soundly beaten so I went up to look at 2 old photo albums, almost 100 years old, kept by Ashley's grandmother. That should be her in the first 2 restorations below of a few neat photos that I chose at random. I don't have my best restoration program on the laptop here, but I am not unhappy with my results today.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
