Today I was up from 3 until 6am doing chores, then back to bed again. I don't have much problem dozing off again in spite of the quiet. Then I wasted most of the day fretting about the amazing stuff that I found in a large tub downstairs that I had asked them to save, but promptly forgot it existed....
Many of the items I was so pleased to find, old photos, my silver baby dish and cup from when I was a New Year's Baby, and some of the artworks I thought that I had given away... One was the conversation-piece "Whorse" that sat on our coffee table in Okotoks. The other two were statuary artworks gifted to me by my ex that had occupied our fireplace mantle downstairs. While two of the objects need some Krazy Glue repairs, they are still in good condition. It made my heart soar when my daughter said that it would be OK to install them above the wardrobe in the guest room where I am sleeping. That was done post haste......
Tonight will be restful as the family prepares to go to the lake tomorrow while I go visiting up north.
Then the weather prediction is blowing snow on Sunday.... and then a cooler week ahead, boo hoo.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
