Yesterday was another pure hibernation day with excruciating boredom setting in.  I got up late, watched a lot of sports and got frustrated with the computer, so I gave it a bit of a rest.  Ever since I cleaned my old keyboard I have been experiencing keys that don't want to work and sudden computer shutdowns, with the main culprit being the "delete" key.  I always remember my temporary boss at Bannerman Insurance in Calgary telling me that most computer problems were easily solved by changing the keyboard.  That little maxim has stood me in good stead ever since.
I bundled up all the books that Dawn and I had read and took them in to Carolina Bookstore for exchange.  I had quite a stack of books that added up to a $30 credit so I grabbed only 5 books and paid the $2.50 difference.  I still had one unread tome at home as well.  I surely need to get back to reading these books to kill the never-ending time.
Next I rode Buzzer over to Markosoft hoping to get a new English keyboard but he only had Spanish ones and I want no part of those.  I went to two other stores and the last guy had quite a stock, but it was virtually the last one that he pulled out that did the trick.  This is a fancy gaming keyboard that lights up as soon as I touch any key, so it will even work in the dark.  It is a little bit of overkill but it is working well so far and I am happy.  Even the mouse seems to be working better, which is weird.
I see that Google is deciding to negate a few add-ons and gadgets, so please be sure to let me know if this affects getting the Blogs via email.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
