OMG, where is November disappearing???
Today, Johnny, aka Santa, and I met with some of the organizers for the 💑Hearts Of Gold Gala (Dec 21) 💑 to see the new venue and decide where Santa and I could operate publicly but unobtrusively.
Mansion Vizcaya is truly a mansion and has been operating for over a year a tad east below Turi, on the Autopista, wrapping around the Colineal store. Luckily the traffic circle for Turi is very close so that coming from either direction is not a problem.
The Mansion, is huge, with the main meeting levels upstairs with two terraces with lovely views. You can see most of El Centro from the right terrace, where we chose a corner for Santa to sit down (hopefully with a lovely elf). Then we hope to have the patrons line up for 2 quick pics seated or standing next to Santa. This saves wear and tear on Santa and will make it easy to use a tripod for steady shots. Anyway, that's the plan.
We go back Nov 27 in the AM to see the place without all the interior walls and to organize the setup of everything.
